We provide exceptional childcare for children aged 2-5 years and pride ourselves on offering outstanding, well-equipped surroundings and materials for children to enjoy and learn from.
We operate an inclusion and equality policy and ensure that all children have access to nursery places and services irrespective of their gender, race, ability, religion. All places are offered depending on availability. If we are unable to offer an immediate start date, parents/carers will be invited to join our waiting list.
A registration fee of £25 is required in order to place a child’s name on our waiting list. The registration fee does not guarantee a place at the nursery.
Allocation of places on the waiting list are based on the availability of spaces in each group. A place is offered on the basis of the following order of priority:
Current child wishing to increase sessions
Sibling already in the nursery
Full time places
Date of request
Our fees are £75 per day
There is a minimum requirement of 2 days per week increasing to 3 days per week once your child turns 3.
Monthly invoices are provided in advance, based on the number of days of attendance in that month. Please note we do not charge for bank holidays or
the week we are closed over Christmas and New Year.
Monthly fees on an average month are shown below
Nursery Education Funding
We are registered with the London Borough of Enfield to offer the universal free place of up to 30 hours (per eligible child) per week.
Government funding is available to all 3-year-old children from the term following their third birthday. The funding covers 38 weeks of the year (term time), and we take the same approach as with our fees and split the funding evenly across the 51 weeks that we are open.
All eligible children currently receive 15 hours per week of government funded early education. However if their parents are working more than 16 hours a week they may be entitled to 30 hours of funded early education, which is up to 1,140 hours per year in total!
At Carol Jane the funded entitlement includes basic childcare between the hours of 8am and 3pm, it does not include the following additional services that we offer:

Employers are increasingly offering support for childcare through childcare voucher schemes. The money comes directly off your salary before deductions, giving you savings on tax and National Insurance contributions. You should ask your employer if this is a benefit offered.
We accept most childcare vouchers, which are paid directly to CLNS and are offset against your monthly fee invoice.
Tax Free Childcare
Support for working families with children under 12. For every £8 you pay in, the government will add an extra £2, up to £2,000 per child, per year. Visit the Childcare Choices website for more information: http://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk
